Overview
GSL Education are proud to be working exclusively with a school in Southampton seeking a full-time Support Assistant to start ASAP. The school caters for primary aged pupils with severe, profound and complex learning needs. Some pupils also have additional sensory, physical, medical, social or emotional needs.
Responsibilities- Support pupils across Primary Key Stages following a foundation curriculum due to the level of their needs.
- Support Phonics, Literacy and Numeracy, and assist in Creative Art and Play lessons.
- Engage in fun and creative play with Play-Doh and painting to support learning and development.
- Energetic, positive and confident to excel in this environment.
- Experience is welcomed but not required; ongoing training is available from the school.
- Ability to work across inclusive settings and adapt to individual pupil needs.
- School working hours: 8:50am - 3:20pm
