A friendly and inclusive primary school in North London is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team this September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced educators, supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs and playing a key role in their learning and development.

Your Role

  • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups across the school.
  • Help children with a range of additional needs engage confidently with learning.
  • Work closely with teachers and the SENDCo to deliver tailored support.
  • Encourage independence, communication and positive social interactions.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Celebrate progress and help pupils build confidence both academically and personally.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has experience supporting children or young people with additional needs, either in education or a similar setting.

Is patient, caring and able to build positive relationships.

Can adapt to the individual needs of different learners.

Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively.

Has a genuine interest in inclusive education and supporting every child to succeed.

Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH or other SEND is beneficial, but the school values enthusiasm, resilience and a willingness to learn just as highly.
