Southampton City Council is looking for a permanent, full-time
Digital Capability and Learning Lead – Case Management System
to support Adult Social Care and Children & Learning services.
This role sits at the heart of our digital transformation programme, helping staff and partners use the Case Management System confidently, consistently and effectively.
About the roleAs the
Digital Capability and Learning Lead – Case Management System
, you will shape and deliver the learning, adoption and workforce capability approach for Mosaic and related service improvements.
You will be accountable for the overall training function, ensuring workforce capability is developed consistently and that learning is delivered to a high standard across services. Working with Design Leads, Practice Development teams and operational services, you will ensure staff have the skills, confidence and support needed to deliver high-quality, compliant and person-centred practice.
Key responsibilities include:- Developing and implementing a strategic training and workforce capability framework.
- Leading the training function and Training Officers to deliver consistent, high-quality learning across services.
- Designing role-based learning pathways, induction programmes and ongoing development.
- Supporting adoption of system enhancements and service changes.
- Using data, feedback and insight to evaluate learning and identify improvements.
- Supporting inspection readiness by building staff confidence and competence.
- Acting as the Council’s lead professional for Case Management System learning and digital capability.

About youWe are looking for an experienced learning and development professional who can combine strategic thinking with practical delivery and support successful organisational change.
You will have:- Experience leading a training, learning, workforce development or capability function.
- Experience developing learning strategies, frameworks or capability programmes.
- Experience designing and delivering digital learning solutions.
- Excellent digital and IT literacy skills.
- Strong coaching, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience analysing data and presenting information to support decision-making.
- The ability to influence, challenge constructively and build effective relationships.
Experience using or delivering training on Mosaic, or a similar case management system, would be advantageous.
What we can offer you:Salary: The salary band for this role is £47,181 - £51,357 per annum. The starting salary is £47,181 with annual progression through the salary bands.
