Supply Desk is recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive specialist provision in Eastleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them develop confidence, resilience and positive coping strategies that will benefit them both inside and outside the classroom.

Every day brings new challenges and rewarding moments as you help pupils re-engage with education and celebrate their successes.

• Support pupils with behavioural, emotional and social needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage engagement and confidence.
• Promote positive behaviour using restorative and trauma-informed approaches.
• Work alongside teaching staff to reduce barriers to learning.
• Help pupils regulate emotions and develop social skills.
• Record progress and contribute to behaviour support plans.
• Promote a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Experience supporting young people is desirable.
• Calm, resilient and confident personality.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
• Flexible approach and willingness to learn.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
