Supply Desk is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Autism Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Whiteley.
You'll support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them build confidence, communication skills and independence in a nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support.
- Encourage communication and social development.
- Support pupils with sensory and emotional regulation.
- Work alongside teachers and therapists.
- Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.
- Promote confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
- Safeguard and support pupil wellbeing.
- Experience with SEND or Autism is desirable.
- Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for helping young people succeed.
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
