Specialist Inclusion Teacher - Southampton Area

Are you a dedicated and compassionate teacher who believes that positive relationships are the foundation of learning?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient Inclusion Teacher to join a specialist provision supporting children and young people who face barriers to education, including Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of pupils who require a personalised and flexible approach to learning. You will work closely with children, families, and professionals to help pupils rebuild confidence, develop resilience, and successfully re-engage with education.

The Role

As an Inclusion Teacher, you will deliver bespoke and personalised learning programmes designed around individual pupil needs. You will support children and young people who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education and require a tailored approach to help them achieve positive outcomes.

Experience and Training
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needs
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices
