Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Dibden, Southampton on a long-term basis.
This rewarding role involves providing classroom support and 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
The Role- Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities.
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with SEN.
- Help create an engaging, inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Encourage the pupil's academic, social, and emotional development.
- Work closely with teaching staff and the school's SEN team.
- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN is an advantage.
- Patient, compassionate, and able to build positive relationships.
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting young learners.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
