SEND Teaching Assistant (Autism Provision) - Shirley, Southampton - £14.25 per Hour

Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Pink Tile Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded specialist school in the Shirley area of Southampton that supports pupils with Autism and associated communication needs.

We are seeking someone with the ability to build meaningful relationships with pupils. The students thrive when surrounded by patient, encouraging adults who understand that every achievement, no matter how small, deserves recognition.

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support within the classroom, helping pupils develop their communication, independence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with Autism and additional learning needs
  • Work closely with class teachers to deliver personalised learning activities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support
  • Encourage communication and social interaction
  • Support pupils during lessons, break times and educational activities
  • Promote a safe and positive learning environment
