Salary is between £ 41 , 086 and £ 47 , 971 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 35 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People's pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

• Learning Resources Leadership - Lead the day-to-day delivery of high-quality Learning Resources services across all campuses, supporting departmental objectives and the Group Strategic Plan.
• Resource & Curriculum Management - Oversee the selection, procurement, licensing and management of physical and digital resources, ensuring they meet curriculum needs and are accessible when required.
• Digital Learning & Innovation - Support blended and flexible learning by developing online resources, promoting digital platforms and identifying new technologies to enhance learner engagement.
• Performance, Budgets & People Management - Manage budgets, monitor service performance and resource usage, and lead, develop and support Learning Resources staff to deliver excellent customer service and continuous improvement.
• Compliance & Professional Standards - Ensure services operate in line with College policies and responsibilities for safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, health and safety, and ongoing training and development.

• Professional Qualifications - Degree-level education or relevant professional qualification, ideally as a Chartered or qualified Librarian, with evidence of continuing professional development and Level 2 Maths and English.
• Library & Sector Expertise - Experience of computerised library management, cataloguing and classification, with knowledge of the FE curriculum, Equality and Diversity, and an interest in VLE developments.
• Leadership & Management - Proven experience of managing staff and budgets, developing high-performing teams and using resources effectively to deliver excellent customer service.
• Communication, Innovation & Digital Skills - Strong interpersonal, IT and data analysis skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, introduce new initiatives, drive improvement and deliver staff development.
• Flexibility & Multi-Site Working - Ability to lead diverse teams across multiple sites, adapt to changing needs, work collaboratively and travel independently across all Bedford College Group locations.
