About the Role

Leicestershire Educational Psychology Service (LEPS) offers the opportunity to undertake diverse, meaningful and innovative work within a highly supportive team. Our purpose is to bring high-quality psychological practice to a wide range of partners, helping to improve outcomes for children, young people and families across our local communities. As our service continues to grow, we are looking for Educational Psychologists to join us and play a key role in shaping and strengthening our offer in line with the ambitions of the SEND reforms.

Every commissioning school in Leicestershire benefits from a named EP who becomes a valued part of its school community, offering a broad range of psychological support tailored to local need. We work within a structured time-allocation model that enables EPs to manage their workload effectively while maintaining a healthy balance across responsibilities. We know that this balance is essential for professional well-being, sustained motivation and continued professional growth.

We are committed to supporting the development of the profession and we enjoy strong links to the EP doctoral training programmes. A member of our team currently holds a secondment post as Professional Practice Tutor at the University of Nottingham.
