£60,000 + Overtime + Bonus + Van + Fuel Card
Monday - Friday - 8am - 4pm
About the Role:We have partnered with a UK-based solar O&M company, maintaining multi-megawatt solar PV assets and helping drive the UK's clean energy transition. Due to continued portfolio growth, we are seeking a skilled Solar O&M Technician to support the operation and maintenance of utility-scale solar sites.
As a Solar O&M Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of large-scale ground-mounted solar farms. You'll play a key role in ensuring maximum plant availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on utility-scale solar PV systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics on inverters, transformers, LV/HV systems
- Testing and inspection (AC/DC systems)
- Thermographic inspections and string testing
- Monitoring plant performance and responding to alarms
- Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting HV switching operations (where authorised)
- Ensuring full compliance with UK HSE and electrical safety standards
