Responsibilities and duties of the Generator Service Engineer role
Reporting to the Service Manager you will:

Service, maintain and repair diesel generators on customer sites and in our Hampshire depot
Electrical and mechanical fault finding
Commissioning, load testing, and ATS configuration
Control system diagnostics and modifications (e.g. Deep Sea, Com Ap)
Electrical installation fault finding
Provide reports and recommendations for remedial works Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

3+ years in a similar generator service role
Strong knowledge of generator electrical systems (control panels, ATS, load banking, commissioning)
Skilled in both mechanical and electrical diagnostics
Willingness to travel UK-wide with occasional overnight stays and out-of-hours work
Field based role
Desirable:

Experience with switch gear systems
ECS/CSCS and other relevant electrical qualifications
OEM control system training (Deep Sea, Com Ap, etc.)
UPS Experience would be an advantage but not essential
Personal skills

£33,000 - £44,000 per year, depending on experience.
Overtime available.
