** Ocean Infinity is seeking a CAD Engineer to support the modelling, configuration control, and lifecycle management of our vessels and payload systems.
** This is a Solid Works-heavy role focused on maintaining accurate digital representations of complex marine systems, supporting engineering readiness, and ensuring configuration integrity across projects and operations.

You will work closely with engineering, QA, and product data teams to maintain high-quality CAD standards, support compliance requirements, and ensure that digital models reflect real-world system configuration.
** What will you do:*
* • Model vessels, payloads, and marine systems in Solid Works to a high level of engineering accuracy.  
• Import, review, and integrate third-party CAD models of purchased technology into assemblies.  
• Maintain and optimise accurate 3D representations of company assets.  
• Manage and carefully control vessel configuration updates, ensuring changes are documented and traceable.  
• Create Solid Works Visualize renders and animations to support project proposals and stakeholder engagement.  
• Support ISO
9001, ISO
14001, and ISO
45001 compliance activities in collaboration with Technical QA.  
• Assist with administration and governance of Solid Works PDM, ensuring strong configuration control and data integrity.  
• Support vessel and marine system readiness through accurate modelling and documentation.  
• Provide specialist engineering support to operational teams where required.
** Who you are:*
* • 3+ years of professional experience using Solid Works in an engineering environment.  
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards, including ISO
129-1 and BS8888.  
• Detail-oriented with disciplined configuration control practices.  
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across engineering teams.  
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple work streams.  
• Proactive, engaged, and accountable for the quality of your work.
** Desirable:*
* • Certified Solid Works Professional.  
• Experience with Solid Works Visualize and basic video editing tools.  
• Strong proficiency in Solid Works PDM and product data management processes.  
• Experience in high-integrity engineering environments such as automotive, aerospace, marine, or defence.

Salary: up to £45000
