Generator Engineer

Pharos Generator Services (an RSK Group company) is recruiting a Generator Engineer to join our team in South East, North London, UK
. This is a full‑time, permanent position.

The successful candidate will report to the South West Service Manager and will provide maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair and testing services for diesel generator sets, switch gear, control systems and associated equipment on client premises or Pharos sites.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Carry out diagnostic, testing and remedial works on generators and associated equipment.
• Provide call‑out cover for generator breakdowns on a rota system.
• Carry out client site visits.
• Project spares requirements for upcoming and planned works.

• At least 5 years of experience in generator engineering.
• Mechanical diagnostic experience.
• Qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar.
• Skilled in technical report writing with acute attention to detail.
