Were currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering business supporting projects on a global scale. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working on-site, commissioning equipment, and seeing projects through from installation to final handover. The position involves significant international travel and will play a key role in ensuring systems are installed, tested, and operating as intended across customer sites worldwide.

As a Field Service & Commissioning Engineer, you will:

• Carry out on-site commissioning activities across international customer sites
• Perform device setup, I/O checks, and software fault finding
• Support installation, testing, and final system handover
• Work from and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and process drawings
• Follow structured test procedures and complete documented testing
• Carry out device calibration and system validation
• Identify and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, and process systems
• Work closely with internal engineering teams and customer representatives
