Our client is a respected and growing engineering consultancy near Southampton seeking a Civil Engineer to join their expanding infrastructure team. This role suits a motivated engineer with at least three years of UK consultancy experience who is looking to develop their career within a business that offers progression opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver drainage, highways and external works infrastructure schemes from concept through to construction for residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed‑use developments.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, clients and external consultants to drive project delivery.
  • Produce drainage strategies, flood risk assessments, earthworks designs and Section 38, Section 104 and Section 278 designs.
  • Prepare designs in line with current UK design standards and approval processes.
  • Support and engage with stakeholders to ensure project objectives, budgets and timelines are met.
Qualifications
  • Minimum three years' UK consultancy experience in development infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in industry software including Info Drainage, Civil 3D, Flow and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in drainage strategies, flood risk assessments, earthworks, and Section 38/104/278 schemes.
  • Strong understanding of UK design standards and approval processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong technical ability, and proactive problem-solving with the ability to manage project responsibilities and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
