Mechanical Inspector - Aerospace Precision Engineering

An established precision engineering company serving the aerospace and defence sectors is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join its growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out FAIR, first-off, last-off and batch inspections on complex precision-engineered components. You will be confident reading engineering drawings, interpreting GD&T, and conducting inspections using first-principle measurement techniques.

• Proven experience in mechanical inspection
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Experience with FAIR and production inspections
• CMM experience advantageous but not essential
• Aerospace manufacturing experience desirable

• Salary up to £18.00 per hour
