Senior Associate Electrical Engineer

Overview

A senior leadership role for an experienced Senior Associate Electrical Engineer to direct large, complex engineering projects and influence the strategic direction of building services delivery in the region. This is a high-impact position for someone who is confident leading teams, building client relationships, and managing full commercial accountability.

You will oversee multi-disciplinary project delivery, support business growth, and act as a senior technical authority. This includes taking responsibility for profitable project outcomes, guiding resources, and representing engineering capability at a senior level.

• Lead major electrical and multi-disciplinary building services projects
• Act as the senior client contact, supporting repeat business and long-term partnerships
• Support strategic direction, bid strategy and tender leadership
• Coordinate design output across teams, managing risk, quality and delivery
• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing local engineering team
• Oversee project expenditure, resourcing and financial reporting
• Represent electrical engineering capability in senior meetings and presentations
• Support recruitment and development of future talent

• Chartered status with strong technical expertise in electrical engineering
• Experience leading large or highly complex projects with a track record in the UK
• Strong understanding of other engineering disciplines and integrated design
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Commercially aware with experience managing profitable schemes
• Strong organisational and planning capability
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Experience mentoring, developing and motivating engineers
