Electrical Systems & Commissioning Engineer  We're looking for an Electrical Systems & Commissioning Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering bespoke industrial machinery.
This is a varied, hands-on position, with approximately 60% of your time spent at the manufacturing site supporting machine build, testing and validation, and 40% spent travelling to customer sites for installation, commissioning and technical support.
The role offers regular UK and international travel, with projects typically taking you to customer sites across India, China, the USA and Europe.
What You'll Do as an Electrical Systems & Commissioning Engineer   Support the electrical build of bespoke machinery
Test, validate and fault-find complete systems
Install and commission equipment at customer sites
Carry out Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT)
Diagnose electrical and control system faults
Provide planned maintenance, upgrades and technical support
Produce commissioning reports and technical documentation
Work with engineering teams to improve products and processes
What You'll Bringas an Electrical Systems & Commissioning Engineer   HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering
Experience commissioning, servicing or supporting industrial machinery or bespoke OEM equipment
Strong electrical fault-finding skills
Knowledge of PLC-controlled industrial systems
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
Practical experience installing and commissioning industrial equipment
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
A proactive, hands-on approach
A full driving licence and the ability to travel regularly within the UK and internationally
Desirable   

Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs
Knowledge of Profinet, Ethernet/IP or Modbus
AutoCAD or EPLAN experience
Machinery safety and compliance knowledge

Experience with automated or high-power industrial equipment
