The University of Southampton’s Optoelectronics Research Centre is recruiting a Mechanical and Electrical Plant Engineer to join a small Facilities team supporting Mountbatten building, home to clean rooms and optical laboratories.
The role focuses on maintaining complex mechanical building systems, coordinating contractors, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will be on the on-call rota with paid overtime after a full induction, and training will be provided to the right candidate.
