Our client, operating within the marine sector, is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will have expertise in mechanical design, specifically within Marine Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and designing mechanical systems for marine projects

Creating detailed mechanical drawings and specifications

Reviewing and validating designs to ensure compliance with industry standards

Collaborating with other engineering disciplines to integrate system designs

Conducting technical analysis and simulations to optimise designs

Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers

Managing project timelines and deliverables to meet client requirements

Ensuring the quality and integrity of mechanical designs through rigorous testing and inspections

Job Requirements:

Experience in mechanical design engineering within the marine sector

Strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices
