The VacancyPharos Generator Services, an RSK Group company, are recruiting for a Generator Engineer to join the team based in South East, South London, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position. Reporting into the South West Service Manager, the Generator Technician will provide maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair, and testing services across a range of diesel generator sets, switch gear, control systems, and associated equipment.
Our support is carried out at client premises or Pharos sites.
- Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Carrying out diagnostic, testing, and remedial works on generators and associated equipment
- Providing call-out cover for generator breakdowns on a rota system
- Carrying out client site visits
- Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works
Experience:
- Experience in Generator Engineering of at least 5 years
- Mechanical diagnostic experience
- Qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar
- Skilled in technical report writing with acute attention to detail
