• Lead the structural design of industrial facilities, including steel and concrete structures, equipment foundations, and pipe racks.
• Perform advanced structural analysis and design calculations for complex industrial loads and conditions.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and reports for industrial projects.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry codes, standards (e.g., AISC, ACI, SANS), and client-specific requirements.
• Manage structural engineering aspects of projects, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Mentor and guide junior structural engineers and designers.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and construction personnel.
• Provide technical support during the fabrication and construction phases, including site visits as required.
• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and respond to technical queries.
• Contribute to proposal development and technical presentations for new projects.

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• A minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in structural engineering, with a significant focus on industrial projects.
• Proven expertise in the structural design of steel structures, concrete foundations, and heavy industrial equipment supports.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ANSYS, SAP
  2000) and CAD tools.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial design codes and best practices.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing project teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally.
