Financial Controller

A growing and well-established group operating across construction, development, and associated services is seeking a Financial Controller to lead finance operations for one of its key business units. This is a hands-on, varied position offering genuine influence and visibility across the business, with close interaction with both the Managing Director and Commercial Director.

What will the Financial Controller role involve?

Overseeing all day-to-day accounting operations, including P&L, balance sheet, and reporting
Managing VAT, payroll, CIS returns, and cashflow
Preparing monthly management packs and budget/forecast data
Leading project costing and cost management to improve visibility and profitability
Partnering with senior management to drive strategic decisions and financial performance
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with strong technical knowledge
Advanced reporting, cashflow, and project costing skills
Confident communicator with the ability to influence at senior level
Experience using Sage systems preferred
Additional benefits and information for the role of Financial Controller:

Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience
Annual pay reviews
22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Salary dependent on experience
