Finance Assistant | Southampton - Hybrid | Graduate Opportunity | £26-32,000

A well-established financial services company is looking for a detail-focused graduate to support the Finance team. This role is an excellent entry point into the world of finance, offering hands-on experience with core accounting processes and financial controls.

• Produce monthly financial data and contribute to the preparation of an accurate trial balance.
• Review balance sheet activity and resolve any issues that arise.
• Assist with updates to financial reporting, system functionality, and internal processes.
• Follow established controls to ensure all finance activity meets governance standards.
• Prepare and organise information required for external audit reviews.
• Work closely with teams across the finance function to support consistency.

You’ll be a good fit if you are:

• A recent graduate with an accounting / finance degree and strong academic background.
• Comfortable engaging with senior colleagues.
• Able to work effectively in a complex environment with strong attention to detail.
