What will the Sales Ledger Assistant role involve?

  • Managing the end-to-end invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate billing to multiple partner organisations and local councils
  • Handling escalated payment queries, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining clear customer records to support efficient cash collection
  • Processing customer payments and ensuring ledger accuracy through daily reconciliation
  • Supporting credit control by monitoring outstanding balances, assisting with overdue account chasing, and escalating issues as required
  • Collaborating across departments to resolve invoice-related issues and improve invoicing procedures
  • Contributing to the team s goal of delivering excellent service whilst maintaining financial accuracy and compliance

Suitable Candidate for the Sales Ledger Assistant vacancy:

  • Previous experience in sales ledger, accounts receivable, or similar finance roles
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve anomalies efficiently
  • Proactive, problem-solving attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Capable of managing varied processes within a fast-paced environment confidently
