Position: Sales Ledger Assistant (Permanent)

What will the Sales Ledger Assistant role involve?

Managing the end-to-end invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate billing to multiple partner organisations and local councils
Handling escalated payment queries, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining clear customer records to support efficient cash collection
Processing customer payments and ensuring ledger accuracy through daily reconciliation
Supporting credit control by monitoring outstanding balances, assisting with overdue account chasing, and escalating issues as required
Collaborating across departments to resolve invoice-related issues and improve invoicing procedures
Contributing to the team’s goal of delivering excellent service whilst maintaining financial accuracy and compliance
Suitable Candidate for the Sales Ledger Assistant vacancy:

Previous experience in sales ledger, accounts receivable, or similar finance roles
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve anomalies efficiently
Proactive, problem-solving attitude with excellent communication skills
Capable of managing varied processes within a fast-paced environment confidently
Extroverted, diligent, and a team player committed to continuous improvement
