This key role engages with senior stakeholders across Finance and the business to deliver financial management information and analysis for external reporting, the 3‑year business plan, strategic target setting and monthly reporting to the Quilter Board, Executive and Affluent Management Committees.
Key Responsibilities
Internal reporting- Prepare Monthly Management Information and Quarterly Business Performance Review packs, including sales and flows reporting, profit and KPIs, and provide thoughtful commentary for the Affluent FP&A Manager.
- Analyse and challenge financial and operational results to provide insight and advise improvements.
- Maintain financial models for reporting and forecasting of financial performance.
- Prepare Business Plan financials and forecast packs for the Affluent units based on inputs from the Business Partnering team.
- Ensure plan and forecast numbers are accurately uploaded to financial systems for performance tracking.
- Explore opportunities to streamline preparation processes and systems.
- Provide data and analysis for Group’s Quarterly trading updates, Interim and Year‑End announcements, and supplementary information disclosures (net flows, assets under management, administration).
- Respond to questions from external parties on the Affluent segment (e.g., market analysts, auditors, credit rating agencies).
- Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners, Capital, Tax, Financial Accounting, Group Expenses & Finance Change teams.
- Assist with ad‑hoc project work and deliverables as required.
- Strong understanding of FP&A principles with experience delivering insightful management information.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate clearly to finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset for identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and financial systems, dedicated to continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools.
- Collaborative team player who builds relationships across functions and thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- Self‑motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Ideally part‑qualified or qualified accountant (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience in a financial analysis role.
