Location:UK, Southampton, Hampshire (Hybrid), with 1-2 days per week in the office.

New Leaf Search is partnering with an established UK financial services organisation in its search for a
Portfolio Administrator
.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist Asset Management function, providing administrative and operational support across a diverse SME lending portfolio.

You will support Asset Managers and Senior Asset Managers with valuation risk, physical asset risk, inspection activity, asset data quality, documentation and reporting, while liaising with internal teams and external third parties to ensure accurate and timely portfolio administration.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Support Asset Managers with onsite inspection requirements and post-assessment activity.
  • Undertake data quality compliance audits across the portfolio.
  • Maintain and renew key departmental documentation, procedures and third-party contracts.
  • Support Senior Asset Managers with accurate and timely document requests.
  • Liaise with Asset Management, Recoveries, Collections, Sales and Operations teams.
  • Coordinate with third parties including inspection agents, repossession agents, liquidators and valuation partners.
  • Maintain accurate portfolio and asset risk records.
  • Support reporting and administrative activity across the Asset Management function.
Person Specification:
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience within an asset-based industry.
  • Asset Management experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Well organised with the ability to plan and manage priorities effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across different functions.
  • Knowledge of audit procedures or specialist asset markets would be advantageous.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services, particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing. Relevant IN-COUNTRY experience is required; applications without it will not be considered.
