Accounts Payable

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our Client in their established and supportive Finance Team. What You’ll Be Doing:
• Investigating financial queries, discrepancies, and unusual transactions to identify the cause and appropriate resolution
• Reviewing invoices, credit notes, account balances, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy
• Carrying out detailed account reconciliations and investigating any variances or outstanding items
• Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex finance queries
• Reviewing financial records and identifying errors, inconsistencies, or missing information
• Maintaining clear and accurate records of investigations, resolutions, and supporting documentation
• Assisting with account reviews and identifying trends or recurring issues that could impact financial accuracy
• Supporting month-end processes and ensuring outstanding queries are resolved within agreed deadlines
• Helping improve finance processes and controls to reduce errors and prevent recurring issues

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year's recent experience within finance administration, accounts, purchase ledger, or a similar finance role
• Strong investigative and analytical skills with a natural ability to get to the bottom of financial queries
• Experience reconciling accounts and investigating discrepancies is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and logical approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge information and ask the right questions
• Comfortable working with financial systems and analysing financial information
• Able to manage multiple investigations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, curious, and career-driven with a genuine desire to develop within finance Benefits on
