Petersfield, Hampshire Permanent Quantitative Analyst | Quantitative Research Analyst | Quant Analyst Hampshire, Remote Hybrid. 1-2 days a week onsite. New Product Environment | Modern SaaS Platform | AI InvestedI am recruiting for a Quantitative Research Analyst, joining a new product team with the opportunity to build something from the ground up and make a significant impact across the business.
The product has strong parallels with quantitative trading and financial modelling - working with complex datasets, building structured models, using statistical modelling techniques, and using data to drive better decisions.
What you'll be doing...Building and refining quantitative models and decision-support frameworks
Combining complex datasets to identify patterns, trends and opportunities
Developing approaches to ranking, weighting and interpreting data Using Python, R, SQL and Excel for analysis and modelling
Helping shape a completely new analytical capability within the business
What we're looking for...We're particularly interested in people currently working as a Quantitative Analyst, or a Data Analyst within quantitative trading / financial markets, who can bring that analytical approach into a new environment.
You'll need a strong academic background in a highly quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering or similar, alongside strong quantitative modelling and data analysis experience.
