Southampton City Council is offering an opportunity for a Planning Archaeologist to lead the assessment of archaeological interests within the city’s development processes. You will work within a busy Development Management team, discussing complex archaeological issues, advising case officers, Historic England, and developers, while protecting nationally significant remains.
Applicants should have a degree in a relevant subject and urban field archaeology experience; MCIfA is desirable.
