You’ll be primarily based in the west and east localities, with occasional travel across the region -- giving you a rich mix of clinical experiences and the chance to make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality musculoskeletal podiatry care to a broad patient group
  • Maintain practice in at least one other core podiatry area
  • Support Clinical/Operational Leads in implementing service strategy in line with HCP/Trust policy
  • Develop, implement and evaluate clinical guidelines, care and protocols
  • Manage a clinical caseload and act as a specialist resource for colleagues and other healthcare professionals
  • Work with patients with musculoskeletal pathology and long term conditions or complex pain on a daily basis to maximise improvement through high levels of clinical skill and behaviour change management and shared decision making.
  • Work alongside and receive referral from other health professionals to agree care plans to prevent/manage podiatric conditions
  • Clinical supervisor to students on placement
  • Support and supervise junior staff and provide specialist team training for healthcare professionals
  • Undertake appraisals, CPD, clinical rotation, supervision, mentoring and peer review, trust colleagues and external members.

Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support. £47,810 to £54,710 a year (please note for part time hours the salary will be pro rata)
