118 hours per 4‑week period split into 30 hours of Team Leader duties (average 7.5 hours per week) and up to 88 hours of support worker shifts. Weekend work may be required.
Pay: £18.48‑£19.63 per hour depending on experience. Sleeping nights are paid at National Living Wage + £1 per hour.
Driver required: Essential.
Driving client’s car? No – you will need a car with business insurance.
Using own vehicle for work purposes? Yes, on duty.
Essential: Supporting adults in their own homes with seizures, learning difficulties and ABI.
Desirable: Experience working with adults with ABI and LD.
Accommodation (while on duty): Good‑sized double bedroom with carer bathroom.

About RosieRosie is a 31‑year‑old woman who lives independently. She has epilepsy, learning difficulties, a visual impairment and a traumatic brain injury. Rosie enjoys animals, coffee and community activities such as Inclusive Ice Skating competitions. She needs one‑to‑one support for personal, domestic and social needs, supervision for her epilepsy and assistance with motivation and planning.
Team Leader Responsibilities- Maintain and manage a 1:1 24/7 support worker team, including rotas, cover arrangements, inductions, appraisals, supervisions and training needs.
- Ensure that the care delivered is of high quality, safe and effective.
- Perform on‑call duties when required.
- Support Rosie with domestic chores, equipment cleaning, washing and holiday travel.
- Co‑operate with the Case Manager to maximise Rosie’s independence and fulfil her potential.
- Work alongside Rosie in her home and at a City Farm, assisting with everyday life‑skills and animal care.
- Provide physical support, companionship and encouragement.
- Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.
- Support Rosie on holidays as needed.
- Experience supporting adults with seizures, learning difficulties and ABI.
- Strong communication, patience, tact, understanding, warmth and compassion.
- Valid UK driving licence (for Team Leader) and reliable transport.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- £18.48‑£19.63 per hour; sleeping nights at National Living Wage + £1.

- 5.6 weeks annual leave pro‑rata.
