Housekeeping Assistant – Maypole Care Home, 99 Lower Northam Road, Hedge End, Southampton SO30 4FS
. 35‑hour contract, pay £13.30‑£14.30 per hour depending on experience.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff.

Always ensuring our residents are kept happy. You will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the upkeep of all communal areas and our residents’ bedrooms.

You’ll maintain housekeeping stocks for day‑to‑day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go.

• Take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment.
• Manage multiple requests at once; comfortable multitasking and working with other teams to keep residents happy.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others.
• Prior experience in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory.
