Myasthenia Gravis Nurse Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Working alongside the Myasthenia Gravis Specialist Nurse to provide information, support and advice to all patients under the care of Wessex Neurological Centre.
• Prioritise patient contacts and liaise with the multidisciplinary team to respond appropriately and give timely advice
• Oversee the management of the Myasthenia infusion/targeted treatment pathway, including coordinating with admissions and day case unit, arranging and reviewing pre and post treatment blood results and ensuring follow up in place.
• Contribute to patient reviews in clinic - Registered nurse with experience in neurology/neuromuscular conditions.
• Desirable to have experience in caring for people with Myasthenia Gravis but not essential as training will be provided.
