We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our vibrant home care team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being. Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized care according to each client’s care plan, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met with kindness and professionalism
  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in activities and hobbies within their capabilities
  • Maintain clear and open communication with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services
  • Use IT systems to update care records accurately and promptly after each visit
  • Drive between client locations safely and efficiently, ensuring punctuality and reliability in your schedule
  • Follow health & safety guidelines rigorously to create a safe environment for both clients and yourself

Skills

  • Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle for home visits
  • Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed care plans effectively
  • Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with clients and team members
  • Good IT skills for updating records, accessing schedules, and communicating via digital platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude and the ability to build trusting relationships
  • Clear understanding of health & safety procedures relevant to home care environments
