Rotational Physiotherapist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across a diverse caseload while delivering high-quality, patient-centred assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, receiving guidance from experienced senior clinicians while developing your autonomy and clinical expertise. As a rotational Physiotherapist you will have the opportunity to work in the below specialities on a 6 monthly rotation basis.

Stroke Rehabilitation and Early Supported Discharge

Inpatients Neuro Rehabilitation

Community Neuro rehabilitation

Musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy

Integrated community therapy

Specialist Inpatients complex rehabilitation

Respiratory Service

Medical Assessment and Inpatient Acute Medical Care

The key roles are

To provide therapy skills to teams within HIOW services across up to a 7 day service.

To assess and treat own caseload, with supervision from a senior and to maintain own records as an autonomous practitioner

To work as part of the therapy team and take part in staff meetings, and in-service training sessions.

To supervise and support more junior staff, Rehabilitation Assistants and Students with support from Seniors.

To contribute to the inter-disciplinary working within the teams and Locality by teaching, learning & practicing inter-disciplinary skills & techniques
