We are looking for a Sensory Support Specialist to join our Northumberland Sensory Services team in Northumberland. This role is for 21 hours per week.
- Be the first point of contact when referrals come into the service.
- Input and process referrals accurately and efficiently.
- Meet and support service users by undertaking comprehensive assessments to identify the options available to meet their needs.
- Manage own case load.
- Undertake case recording.
- Develop person centered support plans linked to outcomes.
- Provide professional/appropriate advice and assistance to the service users and when required signpost them to other services.
- Able to work with a wide range of service users displaying different behaviours.
- Be able to undertake full needs-led assessments.
- Be computer literate and able to complete assessment forms and administration tasks.
- Able to identify with and demonstrate BID’s core values in all areas of work.
- Able to drive or have access to a vehicle with business insurance.
