Care Assistant - Mental Health / Learning Disabilities

£15.20 / £18 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

At Harmony Healthcare, we believe exceptional care is delivered by exceptional people. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a range of clients in Hampshire. Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently, and with dignity in their own homes.

This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.

You will support the client with the specific clinical tasks outlined in their care plan. These may include:

Depression

PTSD

Anxiety

Eating Disorders

Epilepsy management

Moving and handling

Personal care

Medication support

Autism

Learning Disabilities

Drivers favoured*

Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.

We offer consistent and predictable shifts to support your work–life balance and financial stability.

• Weekend day shifts
• Weekend night shifts
• 12-hour shift or shorter calls
• Driver requirements if applicable
• Regular pattern (e.g., every Saturday and Sunday)

• Delivering compassionate 1:1 care in the client’s home
• Supporting with community access and social activities
• Promoting independence and dignity in all tasks
• Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support
• Communicating effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams

Your presence will help the client feel safe, supported and in control of their daily routine.

• UK Right to work required, we do not provide sponsorship and cannot take on candidates with 20 hour working limitations.

Experience supporting people with complex needs

• Confidence with clinical tasks (or a willingness to train)
• Strong communication and reliability
• Empathy, emotional intelligence and person-centred values
• Ability to work independently and professionally

• £150 for every Healthcare Assistant you refer
• £250 for every Registered Nurse you refer

Paid once your referral completes 150 hours.
