HR Advisor

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded professional services organisation based in Southampton to recruit an HR Advisor. Working within a supportive and collaborative HR team, you will play a key role in delivering a professional HR service across the business. The position offers broad exposure across the employee lifecycle, providing both operational and project-based HR experience within a growing organisation committed to employee engagement, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.

What will the HR Advisor role involve?

Acting as a first point of contact for managers and employees, providing advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
Supporting employee relations matters, including absence management, performance management, investigations, and wellbeing initiatives
Analysing HR data and producing reports to help identify trends and support business decision-making
Assisting HR Business Partners with a range of people-focused activities, including employee engagement, organisational initiatives, and process improvements
Supporting diversity, equity and inclusion programmes and wider HR projects across the business
Contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience, reducing turnover, and promoting a positive workplace culture
Suitable Candidate for the HR Advisor vacancy:

CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards completion
Previous experience within a HR Advisor or HR Generalist role
A sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice

Experience of supporting employee relations and performance management processes
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present HR data effectively
Proactive and adaptable approach with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Experience using HRIS systems and maintaining employee data in line with GDPR requirements
