UX​/UI Designer

UX/UI Designer - 6‑Month Contract

Hybrid | 2x per month onsite in Southampton (minimum)

£24.50 per hour PAYE

We're looking for a UX/UI Designer to support a brand refresh and website redesign.

You'll turn user research into clear concepts, prototypes, and polished UI, working closely with developers and product managers.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct and interpret user research to understand problems and shape solutions

* Create journey maps, ideation outputs, wireframes, and prototypes

* Design high‑quality UI in Figma, contributing to the design system

* Reimagine and refresh components in line with a new brand vision

* Hand off designs to developers

* Present work confidently to stakeholders and maintain alignment

Skills Needed

* UX research skills (generative and evaluative)

* Ideally solid experience in service design - If not, strong experience in interaction design or visual design

* Figma

* Experience working with design systems

* Confident communicator who can present and explain design decisions
