Research Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £41,000 - 49,000 per year

• Experience in one or more of the following:
  Linux systems administration
• High Performance Computing (HPC)
• Enterprise storage platforms
• Network administration
• GPU-enabled environments
• Research or scientific computing
• Infrastructure automation and Dev Ops practices

• Supporting and administering Linux-based research computing platforms
• Managing HPC, AI and data-intensive infrastructure
• Maintaining large-scale storage environments
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure, networking and software issues
• Working closely with researchers to develop technical solutions
• Producing technical documentation and user guidance
• Supporting on delivering user training and workshops
• Contributing to platform improvements and automation initiatives

We are a research-led organisation in Hampshire on the South Coast, offering a hybrid working arrangement with one day per week onsite. We are supporting a specialist team that delivers advanced computing platforms for research, data science and AI initiatives.
