Are you ready to embark on an exciting career with a world-leading designer and manufacturer of ship motion control systems? We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Spares and Service Co ordinator to join a team based in Southampton. If you’re technically inclined, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, this is your chance to make a real impact in the commercial ship, military ship, and luxury yacht markets.

As a Spares and Service Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:

Responding to customer inquiries and troubleshooting technical issues with professionalism and efficiency.
Identifying and quoting required parts for customers.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
Processing customer orders and coordinating with purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Professionally packing and labeling parts for shipment.
Keeping customers informed about order status, delays, and shipping updates.
Maintaining effective communication with customers via phone and email.
Following up to ensure customer issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
Monitoring inventory levels and identifying stock shortages for reordering.

We’re looking for someone who brings a blend of technical expertise and customer-focused energy to the role. The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in a technical support role.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
A customer-first mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
High proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Experience with MRP and/or ERP systems in a production environment.
Reliable and effective communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
