A new opportunity for an ambitious newly qualified or junior corporate solicitor looking to build a first-class corporate career outside London, without compromising on the quality of work, training, or deal exposure.

This leading law firm is home to one of the most highly regarded corporate teams on the South Coast and is now looking to strengthen its Southampton practice. The team delivers city-quality transactions, advising on sophisticated deals for clients ranging from high-growth start-ups to established national and international businesses, with transaction values frequently reaching £20m+.

You will be exposed early to complex, high-value transactions across:

• Mid-market M&A
• Private equity and growth capital
• Management buy-outs and buy-ins
• Joint ventures and restructurings
• Corporate finance
• Strategic advisory work

The role offers hands-on involvement from day one, working closely with a Legal 500-ranked partner and a technically strong, collaborative team that places real emphasis on developing junior lawyers.

This role will suit:

• A newly qualified solicitor with at least one corporate seat, or
• A junior corporate solicitor up to c.2 PQE,
• Clear ambition to develop as a corporate lawyer within a high-performing team
• The drive to take responsibility early and progress quickly
