A leading Legal 100 law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Solicitor with around 3+ years' PQE to join its established national commercial team in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality commercial contracts and strategic projects across a broad range of sectors.

The role covers drafting, negotiating and advising on complex commercial agreements, including procurement, supply chain, R&D and the supply of goods and services. The team is particularly active in advanced manufacturing, life sciences, energy and renewables, technology and international trade, with increasing involvement in energy transition and decarbonisation projects.

You will work closely with in-house legal teams and senior stakeholders, delivering practical, commercial advice in an in-house style while benefiting from the variety of private practice. There is regular exposure to multi-jurisdictional work, supporting businesses expanding into the US and Middle East, with scope for international secondments.

Suitable candidates will be UK-qualified solicitors (England & Wales or Scotland) with strong commercial contracts experience gained in private practice or in-house. Experience in tech, IP, data protection or international trade is beneficial but not essential.
