Operations Coordinator - Freight Forwarding

Freight Forwarding Operations Co-ordinator Southampton Full-Time | Permanent

Are you an organised Co-ordinator with strong account management, customer support, administrative skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving? Do you have experience within import/export, freight forwarding coordination mainly via Sea, but Road or Air would be great too? Do you enjoy managing multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service? • Manage daily operational workloads to ensure maximum efficiency
• Using in house and port/freight systems to process import and export shipments accurately and within agreed timescales
• Process customer invoicing and ensure supplier costs are recorded accurately
• Escalate operational issues that may impact service delivery or deadlines
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and operational standards
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide ongoing support
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to maintain service quality

• Previous experience in freight forwarding ideally in a Sea freight, logistics, or previous coordination role
• Strong organisational and workload management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
• Positive, professional, and team-focused attitude
• Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and departments
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm – 1hr lunch break

£30,000 - £35,000 + Quarterly incentive scheme (After 6 months)
