Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Hursley, SO21 2JN

Location – Hursley, SO21 2JN

Hours – Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week

We are seeking a professional site-based Mechanical Maintenance Technician based at our client site in Hursley. The role focuses on delivery of planned preventative maintenance along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs, and fabric maintenance of the building. You will support and participate in an on-call rota operated from within the site-based team. Occasional overtime may be requested.

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will work within a team and contribute at both an individual and team level to provide exceptional services and levels of compliance to our client and customers. The ability to develop good working relationships with our client, customers, and colleagues with interaction on a professional level is a key requirement for this position.

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and carry out reactive fault finding, repairs and fabric maintenance of the building.
• Support and participate in the on-call rota within the site-based team.
• Work as part of a team and contribute to high standards of service and compliance.

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar recognised qualification
• Formal Plumbing qualifications, such as NVQ level
• Knowledge of Building Services
• Maintenance and Cleaning of FCU’s
• Water Testing (L8), Fire Alarm testing and general fabric, handyperson tasks
• Working on and managing PPMS from CAFM systems
• Full UK Driving licence
