Job Summary

Housekeeping Assistant – Knights Grove Care Home, Thomas Road, North Baddesley, Southampton SO52 37.5. Hour contract £13.30 - £14.30, 5 days per week, including every other weekend. Full time. Job area:
Care Home – Facilities & Home Support.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with other housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Vacuum, mop floors, polish and ensure upkeep of all communal areas and residents’ bedrooms.
• Maintain housekeeping stocks for day‑to‑day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Ensure residents are kept happy and supported through a clean, welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with other teams to meet residents’ needs.

• Pride in ensuring work is completed to a high standard and maintaining an organised environment.
• Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and multitask efficiently.
• Comfortable working with other teams to support residents.
