Days Only We are working with a well-established steel manufacturer in Chesterfield to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor . This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering function, playing a key role in both hands-on maintenance and team leadership.

The Role This is a a combination of a hands-on engineering and leadership, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the tools while also developing and leading a team.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading a small team of Maintenance Engineers Leading day-to-day maintenance activities across the site Ordering spare parts and managing inventory Project managing engineering improvements and maintenance initiatives Organising statutory inspections and ensuring compliance Managing external contractors on-site Raising purchase orders and controlling maintenance spend Driving and maintaining high standards of health & safety Supporting and developing the use of the CMMS system The Candidate We are open to Maintenance Engineers looking for a step up

Ideal background:

Experience with in heavy engineering, steel, or precision manufacturing environments Either electrical or mechanical bias considered Strong organisational and leadership skills Comfortable balancing hands-on engineering with team leadership
